Civionics unveils initial wireless acoustic emission prototype In an effort to meet a rising demand for a small form-factor device that can be used to monitor acoustic emissions in a variety of structural systems. Civionics has completed an initial prototype of a new wireless node that can be used to sample AE signals at rates up to 12.5MHz and convert this data into actionable information (event alerts, etc) using a suite of embedded algorithms. This information can then be wirelessly conveyed in real-time to decision makers without exhausting available bandwidth. For more information about the future of this technology, please contact
